About ROCKSAFE
The ROCKWOOL RockSafe series is designed for fire blocking applications in curtain wall systems, primarily between floor slabs, curtain wall units, and perimeter walls. It effectively prevents the spread of fire and smoke to adjacent building units or floors, helping to control fire propagation. The RS60 and RS80 series are suitable for areas requiring a higher compression ratio, such as vertical separations between curtain wall units and zones between vertical profiles and walls that are subject to movement or deformation. The RS110 series is intended for areas with a lower compression ratio requirement, including curtain wall joints and connection details.
